Greetings from PATNA.

Wishing the happiest Makar Sankranti, Pongal and other festivals to all our members including the family. It gives me great pleasure in conveying my thoughts.

It is heartening to note that our zone is progressing on most fronts –educational activities, workshops, postgraduate teaching, preventive and positive attention by yoga and meditation. Interaction among members with helping attitude to each other, help and guidance of USI is praiseworthy. EZUSICON at Rajgir (Nalnda) Bihar has witnessed satisfactory educational and other activities. I hope and expect a grand EZ USICON at Manipur led by Dr Shekharjit Singh Sinam & his team.

Word of caution regarding covid resurgence in other countries and India is on alert mode. Precautions, preventative measures should be strictly followed as guidelines of National, States and IMA authorities.

Mid term workshops, training and teaching Will continue along with free camp for urology awareness and Basic investigations with treatment for under privileged by members.

Our proposal for each of us to ponder regarding free online consultations to the needy by our members twice in a week. The details will be discussed in council meeting if we all agree. All state chapters of East zone must have completed their annual meeting. Bihar has completed annual meeting on 17th & 18 th Decemberwith quiz,debate,prize papers,two orations workshop on Thulium LASER Holep, PCNL, LAP PYELOPLARTY TURP MONOPOLAR YOGA & MEDITATION at YOGA CENTER MUNGER (World Famous Yoga School) at munger.

I am grateful to all my senior members, immediate past president , dynamic zonal secretary, Council members members and members for providing me to serve the society as president

Hope our USICON 23 at Gurugram will be conducted in a graceful manner under the leadership of Dr. Rajeev sood and his team along with USI Council.
