Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is both an honour and a privilege to serve as the President of the East Zone Chapter of the Urological Society of India. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all members for their trust and continued support in advancing the mission of our vibrant and growing community.
Our zone, enriched by a legacy of clinical excellence, academic enthusiasm, and collaborative spirit, has consistently contributed to the growth of urology in India. As we move forward, we aim to build on this foundation by fostering innovation, supporting young urologists, and enhancing access to cutting-edge education and research.
One of our key focuses this year is to strengthen academic programs at the grassroots level. We are committed to expanding training workshops, CME activities, and online learning platforms to ensure that our members—both seasoned practitioners and trainees—have access to the latest knowledge and surgical techniques.
We also recognize the importance of research and evidence-based practice. Encouraging original research from our zone and facilitating its presentation at national and international forums remains a top priority. I invite all members to actively contribute to our scientific programs and publications.
As we plan upcoming events, including the East Zone Annual Conference and other academic initiatives, I encourage each of you to participate, engage, and help shape the future of our specialty.
